From PhilH: 28mm WWII British Commandos (20 points)

Oh no, its becoming a fad. Curse you, Weissi-Zadeh...

From Phil:
As Kawe would say:
'Artizan Designs British Commandos.'

Beautiful work Phil. I've always admired how smooth your paint style is -  very, very nice.

I must say that the radioman seems to be 'enjoying' his work a bit too much! That, or he thinks he's the Pete Townsend or perhaps Jimi Hendrix of wireless operators:

... 'Scuse me while I kiss the sky.'

20 points for these four Commandos! Well done.

Curt - I was thinking exactly that before I'd scrolled down to your end comment.

  4. Curt- I think he looks more like he is flying a radio controlled plane!

    Nice looking Commandos too!

    1. Oh no, no, no! That's not nearly as fun as me imagining him lighting his wireless on fire at the '67 Monterey Pop Festival!

    2. Curse you Curt! I can't see past this anymore. I keep willing myself to think he's cradling his radio to will it to work at a crucial time!

  5. Nice work mate. The aerial is a nice touch, showing how it extends. The devil is in the detail!

    1. Cheers! That's painted on - I added the aerial from paper clip. I nicked the ides to paint the extending aerial idea from the Artisan Designs site. I blame them for historical inaccuracies!

I also hollowed out the PIAT, think it came out really well.
