From Jacco:
Here is my fourth entry for the Painting Challenge. These are 28mm US paratroopers from Offensive Miniatures. They represent the 82nd Division. Since its initial members came from all 48 states, the unit acquired the nickname All-American, which is the basis for its famed “AA” shoulder patch (from Warlord Miniatures).
The famous pathfinders
The support options
The command section
Always good to have a medic in 'Chain of Command'
And snipers for that little bit of extra nastiness.
Wonderful paintwork Jacco! The khaki is spot on, those divisional shoulder-patches are a treat and I really like the stubble on the 'mohawked' heads of the Pathfinders. Lovely stuff.
These paratroopers of the 82nd will give Jacco 105 points. Great job!
Nice work Jacco :)
ReplyDeleteThis is very nice work, very tidy. The patches on their arms are very well done and the basing is perfect. I'm trying to paint in a khaki that is very much what you have here, but I can't get the hue correct. The figure is being stripped for the third time right now. Historical painting ain't easy!
ReplyDeleteVery nice unit,
ReplyDeleteFull of character you have done them justice

Very nice looking! And the shoulder patches really make them stand out!
ReplyDeleteThese are very nice indeed. They will look fantastic on the table top.
