Ross sends in these two bases of archers from the Trojan War.
These are 28mm Redoubt Miniatures. I really like the groundwork Ross has done for these.
These lads will give Ross 40 points to add to his tally.
Tim continues with his Ancient Greek theme and sends in these Spartans which are somewhat 'embellished', as if being seen through a Hollywood lens. All that being said, they are very nice figures.
These 28mm lads are from Crocodile Games. I really like how Tim did the muddy cloaks on these guys.
This pair above are made up of 28mm castings from Black Tree Design.
Perecles, holding aloft the Gorogon head, is a Reaper Miniatures model.
Finally, we have two strapping Spartan commanders - again from Crocodile Games.
This fine group of Greeks will give Tim 85 points. Lovely stuff, Tim!
Michael sends in this excellent Dark Age baggage train for use with SAGA.
I painted these for the escort scenario for SAGA which requires three bases of baggage that need to be protected and moved from one side of the table to the other. The cart is from gripping Beast as well as the two plunderers leading the escort and the one celebrating with a drink over victory. The viking dragging the poor woman is from Foundry. This little project is finished now and I did it before my self imposed deadline of March 20th :-) Might paint more if the game itself is fun, first game end of the Month…
These three vignettes will give him 55 points. I'm delighted that Michael has met his personal goal for the Challenge. Excellent work and well done! I look forward to hearing how you get on with SAGA - we've had around a half-dozen games of it, and they've proved to be fun (though quite bloody!).
