From SteveM: 15mm WWII German Gebirgsjager Platoon (99 points)

Steve returns quick on the sandaled heels of his Gladiator with another entry. This one is in the form of a WWII German Gebirgsjager platoon based for 'Flames of War'.

These are 15mm Battlefront castings. Steve based them so they looked as if they were in an arid rocky environment so they could be used in Italy, Greece or even Russia. He used some tufts from Tajima1 (which he highly recommends) to soften the look of the groundwork.

These mountain troopers will give Steve another 99 points to add to his tally. Well done! Next up for him will be troops from the Devil's Brigade (Cool! William Holden in 15mm!).

  1. A lot of work here, Steve, and the bases are perfect for these models.

    Regards.

  2. thanks. I tried to make it look mountainous while not adding too much height.
