From KentG: 28mm Early Imperial Romans (220 points)

Kent has come through with another large group of Imperial Roman figures. This time four stands of Legionaries and one of Praetorians.

Kent tells me he's been painting a litte too much lately and has had to mend some fences with the missus. He made her breakfast in bed, which is all very nice except it was to mask the fact that he got up especially early to finish painting this group of Romans. Sly fox...

These figures are venerable 25mm Foundry castings sculpted by the Perry twins. Again the shields are hand-painted which look great. The sum we have here is 32 Legionaries and 8 Praetorians which gives Kent a healthy haul of 200 points. Like last time I'm going to award another 20 points for the great shields and groundwork, so a cool 220. Well done!

This group moves Kent firmly in the lead. Well, until we hear from the other chaps that are hot on his heels...

  7. Very cool looking unit - amazing work on the shields. The only EIR I have are a few Warlord & the main reason I went for them was the LBMS shield transfers! Best, Dean
