Oh no, its becoming a fad. Curse you, Weissi-Zadeh...
From Phil:
As Kawe would say:
'Artizan Designs British Commandos.'
Beautiful work Phil. I've always admired how smooth your paint style is - very, very nice.
I must say that the radioman seems to be 'enjoying' his work a bit too much! That, or he thinks he's the Pete Townsend or perhaps Jimi Hendrix of wireless operators:
... 'Scuse me while I kiss the sky.'
20 points for these four Commandos! Well done.
These are really nice, as Curt says, real smooth

Fantastic work by Phil. Dean
ReplyDeleteNice one bro, they look real good.
ReplyDeleteLovely painting Phil!
ReplyDeleteCurt - I was thinking exactly that before I'd scrolled down to your end comment.
"Purple haze...."
Curt- I think he looks more like he is flying a radio controlled plane!
ReplyDeleteNice looking Commandos too!
Oh no, no, no! That's not nearly as fun as me imagining him lighting his wireless on fire at the '67 Monterey Pop Festival!
DeleteCurse you Curt! I can't see past this anymore. I keep willing myself to think he's cradling his radio to will it to work at a crucial time!
Deletegreat work, love the smooth blends
ReplyDeleteNice work mate. The aerial is a nice touch, showing how it extends. The devil is in the detail!
ReplyDeleteCheers! That's painted on - I added the aerial from paper clip. I nicked the ides to paint the extending aerial idea from the Artisan Designs site. I blame them for historical inaccuracies!
DeleteI also hollowed out the PIAT, think it came out really well.
Great job on the minis Phil, and thanks for the good laugh Curt! :o)
ReplyDeleteExcellent painting Phil, they do look the biz!
ReplyDeleteVery good job !
